What to Expect
“Just as my ancestors planted for me, I too am planting for my descendants.”

Initial Connection
Starting the process is simple. The easiest way to reach me is through our contact form—just share your name, contact info, and a brief note. If you prefer to chat, feel free to call (207) 945-7770 and leave a voicemail with those same details. I will personally return your call to discuss how I can help and to schedule our first meeting.
Your comfort is my priority. We can meet at my office at 15 Columbia Street, Suite 402, or if it's more convenient or comfortable for you, I am happy to meet at your home or a care facility.
-
Crafting a Plan Together
Our first meeting typically lasts about an hour and is a relaxed, focused conversation about your family, your assets, and your goals. My priority is to listen and understand what matters most to you so I can begin shaping a plan that fits your life.
After our meeting, I prepare your documents and stay in close contact as we refine them together. You will receive drafts for review along with clear explanations so you can feel confident about every part of your plan before anything is finalized.
-
Signing Your Documents
Once everything is exactly as you want it, we will meet to sign your documents. We provide witnesses and a notary here at the office. You will leave with your original documents to keep in a secure place, and I will maintain copies in my records to make future updates easier.

Ongoing Support
Estate planning is not a "one and done" event, but an ongoing process. I recommend reviewing your plan during major life changes, such as a new addition to the family, the loss of a loved one, or significant changes in your assets, to ensure it continues to reflect your wishes and protect your legacy.
“My clients are everyday Maine families who want to know their children are safe and their wishes are clear. I strive to make the process personal, straightforward, transparent, and—most importantly—attainable.”
